The short version
We collect the minimum we need to run ScriptsFind, we use it to make the product work, and we do not sell it. Your scripts are yours. You can edit or delete your data whenever you like. That is the whole spirit of this document, and everything below is just the detail.
Information we collect
We collect three kinds of information. First, the account details you give us when you sign up, such as your name and email address. Second, the content you create in the product, including your scripts, voice profiles, and the briefs you enter to generate them. Third, basic usage information that helps us keep the service running, such as which features you use and when, and standard technical data like your browser type and general location.
How we use your information
Your information exists to make the product work for you. We use it to sign you in securely, to store and display your scripts across your devices, to generate and refine content on request, to enforce the limits of your plan, and to understand which features are worth improving. We also use it to communicate with you about your account and important service changes.
AI generation and your content
When you generate or refine a script with live AI enabled, the brief and text you submit are sent to our AI provider so they can produce the result. We do not use your content to train models by default, and we recommend reviewing your chosen provider's terms to understand how they handle the requests they process. When the product runs in its built in demo mode, no external AI request is made at all.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, full stop. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, such as hosting and payment processing, and only to the extent they need it to do their job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and operational obligations. When you delete a script or a voice profile, it is removed from your workspace. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize the associated data.
Your rights and choices
You are in control of your data. You can view, edit, and delete your scripts and voice profiles at any time from inside the app. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account entirely. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and we honor those requests.
Security
We protect your account with industry standard measures, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we also encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep it private.
Children
ScriptsFind is built for creators and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
As the product grows, this policy may change. When it does, we will update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, let you know directly.
